Workshops and classes in the community
We offer pregnancy yoga sessions led by a midwife who is also a qualified yoga instructor.
Benefits of Yoga
Yoga combines body positions with breathing techniques. It is safe to practice during pregnancy and helps improve physical and mental wellbeing.
Who can attend?
The sessions are open to women and birthing people booked to give birth at Kingston Maternity at any stage of pregnancy (not for partners).
No previous experience of yoga is necessary. Yoga mats are provided. We suggest you wear comfortable clothing to allow for movement, and bring a bottle of water.
How to book
The classes run on Saturdays, 12.30pm – 1.45pm, in the wellbeing rooms in Antenatal Clinic, ground floor of the Maternity Unit.
You need to book to attend. Each session costs £12. You can book to attend one session or multiple sessions.
